Do you ship?

Of course! Shipping is calculated at checkout – we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how low our prices are.

 

Do you accept returns?

36 hours or three days following a purchase the goods are eligible for return and a complete refund. If you are not local to the Jackson Metro Area and shipping is necessary, the customer is responsible for return shipping cost. We have a trusted business account with UPS and are happy to send you a return label to give you the best return shipping rates.
 
If goods are returned, they will be inspected immediately upon arrival to ensure they are in original, unharmed condition. If the inspection concludes successful, your refund will be immediately processed.

Do you offer items to go out on approval?

You don’t buy a car without a test drive, and you probably won’t buy a rug before trying in your home. Lighting, wall color, potential surrounding furniture and so many other factors affect how a floor covering looks in your space. With all of this in mind, please also note that approval might look different depending on where you’re located.
 
For example, if you are local to the Jackson, MS Metro Area you can simply make an appointment and stop by the showroom to browse. What you’re interested in you may be taken on approval for 36 hours. Upon three days, you must make a decision to keep the goods or return the goods. 
 
Should we not hear from you on day three we will charge the credit card we have on file.

If goods are returned, they will be inspected immediately upon arrival to ensure they are in original, unharmed conditions. If the inspection concludes successfully, the card number on file will be destroyed

Approval, as it applies to customers where goods are shipped, is classified as the 36 hours or three days following arrival of the goods. Upon three days of arrival, you must make a decision to keep the goods or return the goods to us.

Are all of the products you offer listed here on the site?

Our website primarily focuses on one of a kind, hand knotted pieces. However, we gladly offer a wide variety of natural material floorcoverings such as sisal, jute and seagrass in both custom and standard sizes. Whether you see your dream rug here or not, we’d love to hear from and work with you. Simply email us at hello@davis-imports.com with your desired piece specifications and we’ll get to work on finding you the perfect fit.

Help! I’ve stained my rug. Any advice?

We can’t tell you how many times we get late night phone calls and texts for this exact question. If your piece is wool we typically suggest complete saturation of the spill with cold water and clear Dawn or Ivory Soap. Rinse thoroughly and repeat. If you are unsure of the material of your rug be very careful. “New Generation” materials such as viscose or silkette can respond negatively to any liquid, even water. Whether your floorcovering is purchased from us or elsewhere, we gladly offer stainshield and would love to treat your piece.
